I'm a proud mum to two beautiful daughters, Pippa and Emma.
We’re also lucky to have Grandma Cathy living upstairs — she’s become a beloved “Grandma” to many of the children who come through our doors. (Having Grandma living upstairs also is a very big help when my girls are unwell, we don’t skip a beat, the care is consistent for my families)
I’ve worked in the childcare industry for close to 20 years, including 10 wonderful years at a local Avalon KU and Newport KU. I was first introduced to Family Day Care when my eldest daughter Emma attended a local Family Day Care 5/6 years ago, and I saw firsthand the amazing benefits of small group care. Inspired by that experience, I started Felicity Family Day Care to create a warm, supportive environment where little ones can learn, grow, and thrive.
I believe strongly in encouraging independence and I love supporting children through each stage of their development. It brings me so much joy and satisfaction to know I’m playing a meaningful role in this important time of their lives.

My Days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Hours: 8:30 Till 4:30
I work through the school holidays. If there is an occasion that I need to take time off, I have another family day care provider that comes in and works for me in my home. Rachael, also has worked for Chasing Rainbows in the past, so she has all relevant certificates and insurances.
I do take time off over Christmas.
I provide all beautiful, nutritious meals and snacks. (Your child’s favourites and not so favourite foods will be discussed prior to starting)
Jooyna is the nappies that I use, these are also included in the fees. I also provide each child with their own Wilson & Frenchy sheets.
All that you are required to bring is a water bottle, milk bottle/formula if your child requires it, a hat and spare clothes.

From the beginning, Felicity’s Family Day Care felt like so much more than just a place to drop off our child- it felt like home. The warmth, care and genuine love that Felicity showed each day made it feel as though our sone was an extended part of her family (and still is).
Under her guidance, he didn’t just play and learn - he thrived. She taught him important like skills, especially manners, kindness and respect for others. We saw growth in him each and every day, whether it was in how he communicated, made friends, or tackled new challenges with confidence.
